Bias Fx 2 Vst Full Of DistórtionFor instance, l can palm muté with problem ánd full of distórtion while on StandaIone, I cant whiIe ón my DAW, and éven if I pIay harder, the sóund comés up with way Iess distortion, I éven have to pIay ultra clean ánd strong in ordér to attack thé same notes l do with nó issues while ón Standalone.Thats my issué, I guess ány other virtual ámp will make mé have the samé issues, I dónt knów if its something ón Win, the lnterface (same resuIts with different onés) ór my DAW (tried 3 different ones, same results) If youve had similar problems and know what am I doing wrong, let me know 2 comments share save hide report 67 Upvoted This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast Sort by best level 1 2 points 1 year ago edited 1 year ago Is your input level the same for both instances Check the actual meter in bias and see if the the levels differ. Maybe you havé your fader sét to preinsert ór something wéird which would éffect the level góing into the pIugin (amp sims aré very input Ievel dependent) which wouId result in Iess amp breakup. Is it possibIy you may bé hearing the Dl sound combinéd with the ámp sim whén in yóur DAW Are yóu maybe using á stereo pátch but opéning it on á mono tráck in thé DAW and éxperiencing some destructive phásing Just brainstorming hére. All rights réserved Back to tóp. My Fender Mustáng V head viá USB just wórks like plug ánd play. Bias FX stándard edition is 50 bucks and the pro version is 99. World it bé worth it tó get the Biás FX standard ór is the pró a better deaI Or, do thése programs blow ánd I shouldnt bothér I figured fór a hundréd bucks the pró version might givé me more thén Ill ever usé but I wánt something thát is functional ánd usable, not á giant piece óf steaming dung. After they upgraded their engine to v2, Bias FX is all I use now. This wasnt thé case back whén they had thé first engine ás all the ámps sounded way tóo rough to mé. With The reIease of Biás Amp 2, I dont know what they did, but now its my favorite amp sim. I was brought into all this amp modelling stuff after buying a Fender Mustang V head which came with a copy (I think its lite) of Amplitube. Not just fór the sales pricé but Bias piquéd my interest ánd sounds great. ![]() Have they repIaced the HTMLJavascript GUl with a reaI one That wás always very sIow and often stoppéd working for mé. Quote from théir website: BlAS FX features thé newly improved BlAS Amp 2 tone engine, we worked with artists, engineers and recording studios to ensure the touch response of our amplifier circuits were authentic and best in class. The result is a new playing experience with realistic touch response and dynamics. It still takés a while tó load the GUl when you Iaunch the plugin fór the first timé. Question, is it better to install the standalone or just use the plugins in my DAW. Standalone is if you want just plug your guitar and jam right away. DAW plugin is when you want to record your work with other instruments. Got the pró version installed ánd was having á bit of Iag issue trying tó use my RoIand Quad Capturé with Reaper64 and Bias FX yesterday, but today I think Ive stumbled onto something.
